Scott Wallace
Division President, Partner
Scott Wallace is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Agsten Homebuilders, as well as project management of both residential and commercial projects. Scott has run many projects, including many for our repeat clients like The Greenbrier Sporting Club, MedExpress, Spilman Thomas and Battle, and THF Realty. Since joining the firm in 2005, Scott has managed more than $40 million worth of project construction. His experience before joining Agsten was as foreman and finance manager with a residential renovation company. Scott's background is extensive, including work with architects, builders, and in real estate sales and appraisals. He has a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami.

Peter McKinney
Vice President, Construction, P.M.O .

Peter McKinney joined the Agsten team in January of 2010 after more than 35 years in the construction and development business. For the past 20 years, Peter has been responsible for the management of all aspects of real estate development projects including eight years as Vice President of Development at The Greenbrier Sporting Club in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. As a result of his experience with a diverse group of projects, Peter has in-depth knowledge of site and infrastructure development and residential and commercial construction. He is experienced in all aspects of project management from design and permitting through construction completion.

Carl Agsten
Partner

Carl Agsten has more than five decades of construction experience. He received a BS in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 1958. He served three years with the Naval Civil Engineer Corps, and continued with the reserves until 1967. Carl worked for his father at H.B. Agsten Jr., Inc. from 1961 until 1974, serving as President of the company from 1969 to 1974. Carl founded and was the sole owner of Carlton, Inc. from 1975 until 1992, when he sold the company to a larger firm. He founded Agsten Construction Company in 2000. Carl has extensive experience with all types of construction materials and projects, and personal relationships with the best subcontractors and vendors in the region.
